Our internship program offers junior- and senior-level undergraduate and graduate-level college students enrolled in Marketing Communications, Design or similar programs an opportunity to advance their skills and experience real-world situations while learning from award-winning creative professionals.

While we prefer that internship candidates respond directly to available opportunities, if you feel that you are a good fit for an internship with Substance151 but don't see a position that fits your area of study, please email your desired internship position description and qualifications to Ida Cheinman for consideration.

The internships are unpaid (could be for academic credit) and run in parallel with academic semesters.

What some of our past interns are saying:

"Thank you again for giving me such a great opportunity. I really value the time that I spent working with you and Rick."

James Anderson

"I just wanted to say thank you for allowing me the opportunity to work for your company. I took away a lot from the talks that we had about after I graduated and what I planned on doing when I'm on my own, which I found very helpful. I enjoyed the work environment, the constant feedback on my work, and the positive atmosphere of how you run your company. I just wanted to say thank you again and I wish you continual success in the future."

Tyler Reardon

"I wanted to thank you again and let you know how much I appreciate the opportunity I had to work with you. I learned an incredible amount from the time I spent at Substance151 and it was truly the best introduction to the design field I could have asked for."

Rebecca Karten

"I just wanted to say thank you for a good learning experience that will sure help me in the future."
